This Privacy Policy applies to the Bloom — Pregnancy Journal app (“we”, “our”, “the app”), developed and operated by Dong Hung Labs.
This document describes how we handle information when you use the app on your mobile device (currently supporting Android).

🔒 Bloom does not collect or store your personal data on servers operated by us.
All journal entries, letters, and settings are stored locally on your device.
Bloom stores the following information you enter, locally on your device, including: mother’s name, baby’s name, gestational week, due date, journal content, letters to your baby, medication list, and personal notes.
This information is not transmitted off your device by us.

Bloom uses Firebase Crashlytics (a Google service) to automatically record technical information when the app experiences an error or crash, which may include:
This information is purely technical and does not include your journal content, letters, or any personal data you enter into the app.
The purpose of collecting this information is to help us detect, diagnose, and fix errors in order to improve app stability.
Bloom does not actively collect the following types of information:
We also do not collect sensitive information as legally defined, such as: national ID numbers, financial information, biometric data, or clinical medical records.
Journal, letter, and settings data are stored locally on your device through storage mechanisms such as SQLite and SharedPreferences.
This data is protected by the Android operating system’s sandbox mechanism, which helps prevent unauthorized access by other apps.
Feedback information you submit is stored on the Google Forms platform and is not stored in any separate database system managed by us.
Technical information from app errors is stored on Google’s Firebase Crashlytics system and is accessed by us only for the purpose of fixing errors.

The app is designed for users aged 18 and over.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we discover that data has been provided inappropriately, please contact us so we can help address it.

Data is stored in the app’s private storage area and protected by the Android sandbox.
